The Mazarine End118 events
Mazarine is the Tower's underlying logic, where every memory ends up, and the Mazarine End is the line where it eats data. It first appears in 98, swallowing the Lavabo No. 79 reservoir that locals called Mazarine, the "79" of Chapter IV. In the Age of Chaos it rises floor by floor: Glaciaxia (Babel), Neon (the rainbow returns), Haven (Ark Mirage), the Second Surface (Chronnection), Rhythm Star, the Moon (Transit Tide) and finally the Vault. Almost every chapter is the end of one floor.

Geopelia & Gino94 events
Geopelia and Gino are Phigros' two leads, and their history in the Tower runs far longer than Chapter I. Gino co-founded Möbius Studio (99) and runs Limbo Wiki; Geopelia builds the BassAreUs subspace as a Genesis-disc tester in 156, turns up inside CytusII in 220, and is the Ruling Bureau's agent Diamond Princess by 743. In early 770 Gino of Glaciaxia's Team VII finds an amnesiac Geopelia on Mount Sierra; they escape Babel and travel through Hoodoo, Mazarine, Neon, Haven, Clock Town and the Moon before meeting again in the Vault. In Limbo reality Geopelia is Peregrinus's little sister, and she wakes in New Zhengzhou on 2091/08/31.

The Glaciaxia patrols70 events
The Glaciaxia patrols are born in the Whim War of year one and lose their purpose when the Tower lifts off in 60. In 740 Glaciaxia's whims turn into a new human type and the Ruling Bureau helps them rebuild the patrols, with Dlyro, chief of the old patrols, back as a volunteer. Babel kills Dlyro, captain of Team VII, and Xie Ming, Glaciaxia's floor guardian; afterwards a whim of Dlyro hunts Liudaohong in Neon for the Guru, and Broken Data Research fishes Xie Ming's data out of the Mazarine End.

Sultan113 events
Sultan, Sutan and Liandu are one person. A HAVEN dock accountant called the Magician, he runs three societies from 143, and with Peregrinus's help becomes one of the Thirteen Sacrifices, able to make endless doubles. In 242 he renames HAVEN to Neon and starts the Rainbow War; in 256 Peregrinus betrays him and he is thrown into Mazarine with the Tube Maze, and in 271 his remnants attack Lotos, causing the Great Lavabo Retreat. In 770 Geopelia and Gino beat "Battle of Rainbow" in the Tube Maze and break his chain, while his last double, Liandu, runs a hotel in Neon with Dlyro on his trail.

Peregrinus & the Guru39 events
Peregrinus heads the government's Limbo office and leads the Witches' Council. He enters HAVEN in 222, betrays Sultan in the Rainbow War in 256, leads the Unified Government, dissolves it into the Ruling Bureau in 286, and from 300 guards the whim prison of Neon; the whim called the Guru is modelled on him. The Collection reveals that the dying Guru is Geopelia's brother Peregrinus; the Collection's English text also names Peregrinus as the brother who built the Alpa pen for her tenth birthday in Limbo reality. Geopelia takes over the Guru's identity in Neon, and in Chapter IX says goodbye to him on a train platform.

Cronos & Lotos73 events
Cronos designed Lotos and was Atlas's first guardian. In the 271 retreat he split himself into five souls: the promise (Ida), the wisdom (Bernice), the passion (Pallas), the desire (Erapeter) and the way back (the Box of Delusion and the Pearl of Truth). In 743 the five gather at Port Odysseus, Lotos collapses and the port falls. Clock Town, the Mid-Level's capital, is named after him, and the ALIGN rally honours him; later the three-headed Dr. Naberius is suspected of being him, which in the end pins the Cronos concept down.

Fuli25 events
Fuli was a pillar-floor planner and arms dealer called Machine Gun, who died in the 271 retreat and woke as a Limbo. She lives four lives and becomes Hoodoo's floor guardian in 410. Chapter II's guard logs follow her Hoodoo from 411 to 672; in 673 she is taken for the Tiangou on Rhythm Star and ends up holding Artemis's remains. During Ark Mirage she stops the runaway Igallta with the power of a man-made god, and briefly steals the Mazarine End itself with her Tiangou branch.

The Ark & Samuelle21 events
Ark One sets out in 673 and is abandoned in 742. Samuelle, the navigator born from the first people's prayers in 741, is found by Geopelia and Clear in 743 and brought into the Ruling Bureau, and in 748 she and Clear start the ALIGN rally. When the Ark plan restarts in 771 she drags Clock Town clear of the Mazarine End, watches the Tower die from the Moon, and ends up as an AI on Dr. Naberius's computer in Limbo reality.

The Tiaoyin Tiangou & Rhythm Star63 events
Everything on Rhythm Star is woven from melody, and every loop stutters where it restarts. From 663 the legendary Tiaoyin Tiangou steals melodies and returns them repaired a week later; in July 673 it steals the whole planet and gives it back after seven days, with Mobolisi, Khalid's mayor, Fuli and Artemis's remains behind it all. The Eclipse Festival on 7/32 each year remembers it, and the 772 festival on the Moon is the Tower's last.

Kuzumi13 events
Kuzumi is a flying-type whim girl raised by the Pillar Stone People, able to exist at once in Hoodoo, Neon and the Mid-Level. In 469 she steps off the new Hoodoo–Neon train looking for a brother whose name she cannot remember, and for decades she waits at Perchnest Station for the train that took him. In Chapter IV Geopelia meets her child self inside an arcade machine, and she calls Geopelia "big brother"; in Chapter V she is the Witch Church's hired painter and a Liudaohong member who takes Geopelia to the dying Guru; in Chapter VI she helps Geopelia finish her floor guardian report in Haven.

Igallta is the rebirth guide who meets everyone reborn in Haven after Babel. In Ark Mirage the Tower's underlying logic hands her near-unlimited power and she runs out of control until Fuli stops her; afterwards she returns to normal and becomes Fuli's friend.

The Limbos551 events
Limbos are Tower residents who know who they are outside. They build the Saturn system at the end of the Dragon Palace Era and the Mid-Level as their own home, and awaken in large numbers in 469; Limbo Wiki, Broken Data Research and the Awake Journal are theirs. In Limbo reality the PhigrOS plan wires people's brainwaves into the Tower with nanomachines, and a year inside is about a day outside.

In summer 2091 the PHI platform runs a youth ARG across Jiangyuan base, the Treasure of Seventeen, hosted by the virtual idol Sparkle_17. Chapter EX keeps the teams' tokens and puzzles, and in 2092 NazoGame sends back a challenge of its own.

The Tower organization2 events
The Tower is the organization in Limbo reality behind the PhigrOS experiment. It uses Jiangyuan base's medical system to put nanomachines in every registered resident, and 770 years into the simulation it decides to shut the Pixel Tower down. The whim Dlyro's pouch records its century of history, and the New Zhengzhou police investigate a group code-named Tower after the singer Zuo dies.

Liudaohong forms in Neon in June 770 against the Witch Church, smuggling whims out of the prison inside neon signs, and disbands in early August; the hacker group Seven then hunts for a system backdoor and finally ends Neon's rainy night. Blanda drifts between both and sends a thank-you letter once Neon's sky clears.

The Ruling Bureau101 events
The Ruling Bureau replaces the Unified Government in 286, rules from Clock Town, stops anyone holding power too long with random rebirth, and runs the four lower floors through floor guardians. Diamond Princess is the code name of the Guru, Neon's guardian: Gino's phone uses it for Peregrinus in 243, and by 743 it is Geopelia's. Clear is Justice, Wandou and Snow Pear Cream are among its staff, and in the Age of Chaos the floor guardians' group chat records the whole evacuation.

Artemis's remains10 events
Artemis's remains are a blue crystal with nothing human left in it. The stargazer Mobolisi tries to treat them by turning them into melody at the Black Moon Sanatorium on the Moon; after the 673 Tiangou affair Fuli hands part of them to the Ruling Bureau, and Broken Data Research finds the same wavelength in fragments of Lotos's Pearl of Truth.

Ash and Findstr are two drifters who turn up on the glacier in the week of Babel. Ash wakes in the snow holding a flowery kitchen knife, saying he was cooking at home with his wife before he met Findstr; in Chapter II they float beside a hundred-storey anchor carved JUSTICE, and Ash returns in the 2092 April Fools skit.

Subspaces & the Genesis disc518 events
Subspaces are worlds people make for themselves and hang on a floor, mostly with Möbius Studio's Genesis disc: outside official history, yet able to affect it. Geopelia built BassAreUs in 156 as a Genesis-disc beta tester; CytusII exists by 220 and is moved to Haven by rhythm-game fans in 770; Lanota has existed since Haven was begun, KALPA hangs on the Vault, and Rizline is carried on Limbo reality itself.

The Second Surface & the half-beasts75 events
Floor 6, the Second Surface, is the artificial biosphere Biosphere X, which keeps every plant and animal record humans could gather in rings by geological age. It is finished in 450 and the Yike Institute moves there in 465; half-beast tribes spread there afterwards, a redacted project follows in 643, and in 721 the half-beasts fight for independence. On 771/08/32 the Mazarine End reaches it, and the Mid-Level escapes above the sky through the Clock Link.
