Fuli Fuli was a pillar-floor planner and arms dealer called Machine Gun, who died in the 271 retreat and woke as a Limbo. She lives four lives and becomes Hoodoo's floor guardian in 410. Chapter II's guard logs follow her Hoodoo from 411 to 672; in 673 she is taken for the Tiangou on Rhythm Star and ends up holding Artemis's remains. During Ark Mirage she stops the runaway Igallta with the power of a man-made god, and briefly steals the Mazarine End itself with her Tiangou branch.

Barren Years

72 B.P. – 60 A.P.≈ 2089-05-11 – 2089-09-19 in Limbo reality

An ice age plunges the world into famine. After the first year the whims invade, and humans rebuild industry by using them, all the while trying to leave Glaciaxia. The first half (72 B.P. to 1 A.P.) is also called the Glaciaxion, the name of Chapter I.

286 A.P. – 673 A.P.≈ 2090-05-03 – 2091-05-25 in Limbo reality

The Ruling Bureau replaces the Unified Government of the First People. Haven, the fifth floor, and the planet floors (6–8) are built as humans turn to space and the Moon: an age of prosperity.

Fuli's first life ends: her fiancé tricks her into a suicide pact
The first Fuli, Mexico (286-310), tires of fighting and becomes a pianist and composer who falls in love. Her fiancé actually hated the unawakened her, and on learning she still carried Machine Gun's memories he tricked her into a suicide pact. Her second life, Furi, follows.
The page gives the first life as 286-310 and the second as 310-400 but does not date the pact itself; 310 is the end of the first span.

Fuli's second life, Furi, is shot at the Tower's 340th anniversary
Her male-presenting second life, Furi (310-400), first works at an accounting firm and then becomes a reporter for the Ruling Bureau's official media. He is shot at the event for the 340th anniversary of the Tower's lift-off, most likely a victim of the random-rebirth rule. Her third life, Yuta, follows.
Date inferred: 340 years after the Tower leaves Glaciaxia in 60 A.P. is 400, which matches the end of the second life (310-400). The page does not date the shooting; the random-rebirth cause is only 'most likely'.

The May 416 inspection notes a Pekingese with a hairless tail in District One, a new branch on District Two's stone tree that is a woman, an inedible green long-tailed chicken in District Eight, and a District Sixteen dam rebuilt, and now owned, by talking otters. By December the stone tree has grown taller, its fruit looks like human faces and may be talking, and District Two is noisy at night.

A video log of 422/01/05: the stone tree's fruit has grown legs and built houses and roads like a primitive village, full of graves and funerals; at a kind of hospital a 'doctor' raises a hammer and brings it down on the wounded. Kuzumi arrives in the Hoodoo
On 469/04/01 a new humanoid whim, Kuzumi, steps off the newly opened Hoodoo–Neon train and moves in with the scavengers. She is looking for her brother but cannot remember his name, only that they parted at Perchnest Station; she insists she was born in the Hoodoo, and the scavengers accept her as one of them since the Ten Suns era. The log's author finds a Neon artist whim of the same name, apparently working for Gulu, and suspects the 'brother' is the past self of 'our former leader', who holds custody of this level-5 whim. On 4/05 the flying-type Kuzumi herself turns up; her whim pollution is contained, and since the other side will not recall its copy, the author punches her.

  The ‘performance’ and the double
The mayor straps a quantum sync terminal onto Fuli so she can blink to every place where the ‘tengu eats the moon’ sighting appears; people who see her will think the Tiangou has taken shape, which feeds the whim. Half an hour into the show the jumps stop and she is stuck in a magenta space facing a blonde girl identical to herself, who keeps repeating ‘clear the pollution… protect everyone… on the moon’ until the jumps resume and the double is gone.

The Tiangou steals the Rhythm Star
From 7/17 to 7/23 the Rhythm Star goes through a seven-day lunar eclipse: communications go dark and every surveillance camera shows people frozen in place. The Tiangou's effect spreads from central Khalid, turning the planet piece by piece into silent melody and taking it away; only Fuli stays awake. Her terminal's beam points at the moon, and she follows her double into the Black Moon Sanatorium, carried through pitch-dark corridors to a floating fluorescent-yellow cube.

Age of Chaos

770 A.P. – 773 A.P.≈ 2091-08-30 – 2091-09-02 in Limbo reality

In early spring 770 the story of the birdcage spreads on the Lunar base: break one cage and there is another. The world collapses as belief does, and the Mazarine End swallows the Pixel Tower floor by floor: an age when heaven beats people. Phigros' main story takes place in these three years.

Visiting Fuli and fixing the radio
The road to District Three's manager Fuli is littered with bullet casings, and Fuli lives under a giant statue of herself, a gift from District Five. Kuzumi had asked Fuli to fix a radio of the same model Geopelia had as a child; Fuli cannot find the fault, but Geopelia remembers the weak solder point her brother showed her and fixes it at once. Fuli adds them both as friends in the system, while Gino worries that Geopelia still does not know Limbos exist; he also finds a 'bio-human only' hydraulic agent in District Three's bio-human factory.

Stripping away the Tiangou's effect

Fuli keeps watch at the console while the Tiangou's effect is stripped away and finally nods off. She wakes to find her double, the Tiaoyin Tiangou, asking in a full sentence whether she will take the remains, and stammering that they are the source of the pollution. Fuli brings the remains to Clear

Fuli demands to know whether Clear is behind the Rhythm Star's moon, and Clear recognises what she has brought as part of the remains of a legendary whim that, while still active, could have polluted the whole Pixel Tower. Fuli says she has already fixed the planet with it, using the local trick of melody, and that ‘he’ left a huge amplifier-like device on the moon, with a log saying he was waiting for someone. Clear says he will wait in vain: ‘Artemis has probably logged out.’

The Golden Paradise fake-liquor accident: 129 reborn
On 2-3 September 706, 129 Limbos are reborn in Jinjin and Jinshu districts after a bar kept buying fake liquor. The chain ran from Golden Paradise sorghum to a Hoodoo District 3 factory and back into a Jincang distillery depot. A brewing-licence rule followed, the city fell from 7th to 23rd in the subspace popularity ranking, and Yuanzhou was warned by the Ruling Bureau.
The report is dated 706.9.24: the party was on 09/01 and police found the supply chain on 09/20. The history table says 'nearly a hundred' reborn against 129 in the report. Police meant to ask Fuli, named manager of Hoodoo District 3, to inspect the factory.
