Phigros' story in in-game time. The Tower's history comes from the official Limbo Wiki, and the story told by the Collection sits on the days the game gives it.

Hide community lore

The Glaciaxia patrols The Glaciaxia patrols are born in the Whim War of year one and lose their purpose when the Tower lifts off in 60. In 740 Glaciaxia's whims turn into a new human type and the Ruling Bureau helps them rebuild the patrols, with Dlyro, chief of the old patrols, back as a volunteer. Babel kills Dlyro, captain of Team VII, and Xie Ming, Glaciaxia's floor guardian; afterwards a whim of Dlyro hunts Liudaohong in Neon for the Guru, and Broken Data Research fishes Xie Ming's data out of the Mazarine End.

Year one: humans meet the whims
1 A.P. (2089-07-22 in Limbo reality; 2091 in the Tower's old calendar). A rescue team at the crater's edge meets the first whims, the soldiers later called demices. Humans gain the power to fight them, the Glaciaxia patrol is founded, and at year's end the Unified Government of the First People forms.
The Glaciaxia page puts this rescue in spring 2092 (file 20830377), while the History page calls year one 2091 in the old calendar.

  Team 361's first-anniversary feast
A dream fragment of Forive's: a year (377 days) after joining, the team holds a feast in the canteen, the captain is pushed on stage to sing, and everyone takes a group photo. The compiled version then cuts to a crowd's uproar, weeping and shouting, and something staining him. The captain's later log mentions a gathering three years earlier that cost many members their lives, which may be this one.
The date is the fragment's collection time (56.A.P), not a time stated in the story. Linking it to the 'gathering three years ago' in the captain's log is an inference (59 minus 3 is 56, and the compiled text turns to screams right after the photo); the page does not say so.

On Qingming (4 April) 2096, 'mass-delusion patients' in New Zhengzhou hold the first online memorial, livestreamed for about half an hour, for Dlyro and Xie Ming, said to have been 'annihilated'. The chant is 'in solemn silence we honour the Limbo pioneers who watched over Glaciaxia'. New Zhengzhou police are watching, and a second memorial in Qingming 2097 is an unconfirmed rumour.
The page carries the 诈骗 (humour) tag and its chat log is graded 'nonsense', so treat it as low reliability. Its dates disagree: the log says 'Jiangyuan time 2094.4.04' and 'about the fourth anniversary', the rumour links it to 'Babel' in 2092, and official Babel is 770/03/32 (around 2091 in Limbo reality).
