The Animitta-Sabha report

Clear arrives at the intelligence department to file his report on Animitta-Sabha. A ball-jointed doll is covering the desk because the clerk's house caught fire. The doll says Clear has been chasing the 'Black Moon' case and passes on a message from Mobolisi: he knows no more than Clear, but he will say where his lead came from, which is collection six, report six in the difficult-cases folder.

Finding the Ark's navigator at Dusk Base

On the third day of their investigation team, Geopelia and Clear follow Ark I's log to Dusk Base, an artificial planet and old Rainbow War battlefield, where a stranded space liner has polluted its surroundings and given the base a sea it never had. Clear says the whim at the source, the Ark's navigator, is still aboard. They find Samuelle, a mind-reading girl of thirteen or fourteen with white plastic hair, and Geopelia invites her to leave and join the Unified Governance Administration, with Clear calling Geopelia 'Agent Diamond Princess' and she calling him 'Agent Justice'.

Guardians' chat: Xie Ming offline, lower floors evacuated

In the 3/32 log, 'On a business trip' leaves the group and Clear joins, announcing that Glaciaxia's floor guardian Xie Ming has gone offline and that the administrative AI 'Justice' will handle the aftermath, then renaming himself Falulu. After Ruling Bureau confirmed the Pixel Tower would close, a Tower-wide notice shut every shuttle line from Haven to Glaciaxia, and the guardians' internal notice expects the lower four floors to be swallowed by 9/20, likely as early as August. Clear asks for 'Diamond Princess' and 'Lotos' to be told, and says 'Death' has stepped back from running the Tower for lack of computing power.
