Story timeline
Phigros' story in in-game time. The Tower's history comes from the official Limbo Wiki, and the story told by the Collection sits on the days the game gives it.
The Second Surface & the half-beasts Floor 6, the Second Surface, is the artificial biosphere Biosphere X, which keeps every plant and animal record humans could gather in rings by geological age. It is finished in 450 and the Yike Institute moves there in 465; half-beast tribes spread there afterwards, a redacted project follows in 643, and in 721 the half-beasts fight for independence. On 771/08/32 the Mazarine End reaches it, and the Mid-Level escapes above the sky through the Clock Link.
